Shave the beeswax for quicker melting time.
No need for expensive, single-purposed, artificially scented leather and wood conditioners. This is the easiest recipe ever, and multi -purposed. A block of beeswax purchase will last you a long time, and many products can be made from it.
Ingredients:
Block beeswax – 1/4 cup
Olive or coconut oil – 1 cup
Lemon Essential oil – 10 drops
Lavender Essential Oil – 10 drops
Grate 1/4 cup beeswax and melt over low heat.
Add 1 cup olive oil or coconut oil, stirring quickly and then add 10 drops lemon essential oil and 10 drops lavender oil (or oil of your choice).
Pour into wide-mouthed jar, pre-heated or else it will crack, allow to cool. To use, wipe on leather or wood with a cloth and allow to penetrate leather or wood, then buff excess off.

Leather and wood conditioner; make more than you need and gift one to a friend!
Play around with amounts, use more beeswax if you want more waterproofing quality, say for shoes, or less if you want it to spread easier, say for a leather upholstered couch. The bonus is it works just as well on wood! Rub it onto your wooden furniture, allow a few minutes soaking and then buff with a clean cloth to remove excess and give your wood a revivalist sheen! Simple. Easy. Effective. Non-toxic.

My 10 yr old handmade sandals love a good leather feed!
